Minister to celebrate success of Career Advice Australia

The Minister for Education, Science and Training, the Hon Julie Bishop MP, will deliver the keynote address to more than 600 delegates at the inaugural Career Advice Australia National Conference in Brisbane on Thursday.
The Career Advice Australia initiative offers for the first time a national support network for young people looking for the best career advice on hand to help them decide on which pathway to pursue. It helps young people gain control of their lives by making informed decisions and planning for their future.
The initiative incorporates a network of new Local Community Partnerships, Regional Industry Career Advisors, National Industry Career Specialists and Youth Pathways providers.
The theme of the three day conference is Partnerships at Work, and will focus on celebrating the success of the Career Advice Australia initiative to date and getting local partnerships and networks established and working effectively on a national scale.
A number of high-profile speakers will join the Minister in addressing the conference.
