1. Steady State Funding and Total Grant for all Centres are in 1995/96 dollars.

2. Starting date of the Grant Period is 1 July 1991 for all first round CRCs, 1 July 1992 for most second round CRCs (five started on 1 April 1992), 1 July 1993 for third round CRCs (with one starting on 1 April 1993), and 1 July 1995 for fourth round CRCs.

4. Several Centres, such as some listed under Medical Science and Technology and Rural Based Manufacturing, could also be classified as Manufacturing Technology.

5. Funding for the new CRC for Renewable Energy and Related Greenhouse Gas Abatement Technologies is provisional and dependent on finalisation of contract negotiations by 30 June 1996.
