This paper provides a picture of the labour experience of higher education graduates since the late 1980s. This covers a period of major change in the supply of graduates onto the labour market. Importantly it provides an indication regarding the labour market consequences of moving from a higher education system with relatively small numbers of graduates to a system with a substantial share of the population graduating from higher education.
