This painting relates to my mother’s mother.
She is the backbone of our family and has raised
both her children and grandchildren. Through
her influence and strength, and the values she has
passed on, my grandmother has played a most
important part in my life.

Renee Smith completed her Dip(Visual Arts) at the
University of Canberra in 1998 and lives in the ACT.
