Table 35 sets out the numbers of staff at 30 June 2000 by gender, classification and level. It also provides a comparison with 30 June 1999 figures.

Staff numbers have increased slightly in all areas, except for the Secretary and Statutory Office Holders. The total rise in staff numbers is 3.9 per cent .
