Indigenous Education Units (IEUs)

Indigenous Education Units (IEUs) are primarily responsible for the administration of the Indigenous Education Direct Assistance (IEDA) programmes, which include the Aboriginal Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ATAS), Aboriginal Student Support and Parent Awareness (ASSPA) programme, and the Vocational and Educational Guidance for Aboriginals Scheme (VEGAS).

These units provide advice and guidance to parents and students and process applications and payments under these programmes. Click on the relevant State or Territory to locate the IEU nearest to you.
