Note: Additional indigenous students were surveyed to provide a statistically valid sample size for indigenous students. The Special Indigenous Sample (SIS) is not a nationally representative sample of all indigenous students. It is representative of indigenous students in schools with at least 5 indigenous students in Years 3 and 5. Because of the sampling methodology, the special indigenous sample contains a significant proportion of rural and remote students. Care needs to be exercised in interpreting the figures.
