Capital Matters: an evaluation of the Commonwealth’s Capital Grants Programme for schools
The overall objective of the evaluation was to examine whether the CGP has been effective in addressing the Government's objectives and thereby improving the capital infrastructure of Australian schools, particularly those catering for educationally disadvantaged students. The Report is based on information from the Department's own sources as well as work undertaken on specific topics by two consultants.

School Insight
A newsletter published by Schools Division of DETYA. It aims to communicate important information about Commonwealth priorities for schools to the schools sector, parents and the wider school community. School Insight will be published six times per year.

States Grants (Primary and Secondary Education Assistance) Act 1996 Report
The States Grants (Primary and Secondary Education Assistance) Act 1996 reports on financial assistance granted to each State in respect of 1999.  This is tabled in parliament each year.  The report provides a detailed breakdown of expenditure in 1999 from funds appropriated by the Act and a brief description of how funding was allocated in line with the objectives of Commonwealth programmes for schools.
