The
Trade Training Centres in Schools Program is an important element of the Australian Government’s Education Revolution. It will provide $2.5 billion over 10 years to enable all secondary schools to apply for funding of between $500,000 and $1.5 million for Trade Training Centres.
The 2008 Administrative Guidelines set out the objectives, administrative requirements and funding allocations for Australian Government programs for schools for 2008.
PACER is an Australian Government initiative which provides a subsidy for schools to travel to Canberra as part of their civics and citizenship education.
In May 2006 the Australian Government commissioned the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) to analyse and report on the content, curriculum and standards in Year 12 English (including Literature), Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and Australian History. The

The General Recurrent Grants Programme helps government and non-government schools with the recurrent costs of school education so that they can offer students educational programmes directed towards the achievement of the Australian Government’s priorities for schooling.
Success for Boys 
is an Australian Government initiative that aims to help schools improve boys' learning outcomes and engagement nationally, by providing teachers with access to high quality professional learning.
