The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations funds specific initiatives and programmes that assist individuals to make successful transitions through and from school to work, further education and employment.
Funding for the majority of the department's career and transition programmes and initiatives is appropriated through it's Outcome 4 - Individuals acquire career development skills and make succeddful transitions to futher education, training and/or employment.
