Through the Career Education Lighthouse Schools Project, selected schools will develop, deliver, document and disseminate best practices in teaching and learning in career education in Australia.
The Australian Principals Associations Professional Development Council is conducting the project. Best practice models of career education in a number of lighthouse schools are being funded. These schools will disseminate information about their practice to other schools. An allocation of up to $10,000 per successful school has been made with more for successful school clusters.
The schools represent a diverse range of best practice and/or innovative career education models across the country. Schools from all sectors and all states and territories are represented.
