Declining rates of achievement and retention: the perception of adolescent males

This report summarises the research of 1800 boys (in South Australia) 'at risk at not completing year 12'.  It highlights (and debunks) a number of commonly held views as to why boys tend to drop out of school earlier than girls, while emphasising the boys own reasons for failing to complete year 12.
