On 20 August 2007, the Hon Mal Brough MP, Minister for Family, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs announced the outcome of the 2007 In Home Care (IHC) Allocation Round.
The additional 1200 IHC places will assist families who are unable to access other forms of child care such as where a parent or child has a disability, or where the parents work shift or non standard hours.
Applications for the 2007 IHC Allocation Round closed on 23 April 2007.
There was a very strong response to this round with 65 applications received. Applicants have been formally notified by mail in early August regarding the outcome of their applications.
