The Report details the results of a literature review of publicly available material concerning issues relating to the maltreatment of children. The aim of the Report is to provide an evidence base for Australian jurisdictions to inform decision-making in the area of pre-employment screening checks for child related employment. The findings of the Report will assist in the development of the
