At its meeting in July 2006, the Ministerial Council on Education, Employment, Training and Youth Affairs (MCEETYA 
) asked the Joint Committee on Higher Education (JCHE) to develop National Guidelines to assist the implementation of the revised National Protocols. The guidelines will provide further information on requirements and procedures, and are due for completion in 2007.
