Following the 2006 fund, we released a discussion paper on options for improving the fund

We received 51 submissions in response to the discussion paper.
The department held consultations with the sector in all States and Territories in March/April 2006. The consultations sought to identify issues that could be addressed to improve the fund for 2007 and to help plan the medium to longer term future of the fund.
