2009 Learning & Teaching Performance Fund

On 5 February 2009, the Minister for Education, the Hon Julia Gillard MP announced which universities will receive funding from the Learning and Teaching Performance Fund for 2009.

This table contains information about universities’ performance against each of the performance indicators.  This information has been subject to an adjustment process, which is designed to remove the effect of external influences on universities’ performance and allow the indicators of learning and teaching performance to be compared across universities within each discipline group.

This table contains information about universities’ performance in each discipline group against each of the performance indicators.  These are crude percentages which have not been subjected to an adjustment process. They have been derived by comparing the institution’s most recent performance with its own past performance to determine average annual change and show the extent to which its overall performance has improved over time.

This is the report of the expert panel which was responsible for reviewing the data for the Learning and Teaching Performance Fund 2009 and making recommendations to the Minister on which universities should be eligible for funding.
