Concentration of research in Australian universities: six measures of activity and impact [higher education series (HES) 32]

In this report  a number of different sources of quantitative information about the research activity and impact of Australia's universities has been brought together.  The six measures used are Australian Postgraduate Awards (APAs), weighted Research Quantum (RQ) funding data, weighted RQ publications data, publications in journals indexed by the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI), citations in ISI-indexed journals, and research expenditure. For each indicator, we show the share of the total associated with each university and the university's rank.
