Fifth generation distance education [higher education series (HES) 40]

This report provides information on how educational institutions are responding to the fast growing changes in technological knowledge. It highlights the need for institutions to do things differently in their response to such changes. Also the report highlights that universities with a significant role in distance education, however, are different: they have always been, and will always be, in the vanguard of innovation and institutional change.
