Understanding Data about the Number of Applicants and Offers for University Places
Provides a description of available data on applications and offers for undergraduate university places and a guide to correct interpretation of the data.
Abstract
Data about the number of applications and offers for university places can be confusing, especially since numbers change as more applications are received, existing applicants change preferences and, offers continue to be made throughout the main application and offer period. Understanding these changes is essential to correctly interpreting data on applications and offers.
