• Issues paper: Building University Diversity - Future approval and accreditation processes for Australian higher education - issues paper
  On 1 March 2005, The then Minister for Education, Science and Training released an Issues Paper as a first step in a consultation process on future approval and accreditation arrangements in the higher education sector.

• MCEETYA's National protocols for Higher Education Approval Processes
  have been designed to ensure consistent criteria and standards across Australia in such matters as the recognition of new universities, the operation of overseas higher education institutions in Australia, and the accreditation of higher education courses to be offered by non self-accrediting providers.
   

• National Higher Education Student Equity Forum
  The 2005 Equity Forum will provide an opportunity for higher education equity practitioners to discuss issues relating to the implementation of reforms arising from Our Universities: Backing Australia’s Future, including the revised equity and disability programs.

• The HECS support for students website has been decommissioned.
  As a result of Going to Uni being launched in October of 2004 the HECS support for students website has been decommissioned. The Going to Uni Website  is a one stop shop containing all relevant information on the higher education reforms and a comprehensive guide on higher education in Australia, for current and prospective students and their families.
   

• The FEE-HELP Guidelines are now available    
   

• The 2005 Guidelines for Commonwealth Scholarships are now available
