DEST’s Reconciliation Action Plan will be overseen by the department’s Corporate Leadership Group (CLG), which comprises the department’s Executive and all Group Managers. CLG will receive twice yearly reports from those areas of the department with responsibilities for initiatives under the Action Plan.
Actions identified in the Indigenous Outcomes Action Plans – many of which are reflected in the Reconciliation Action Plan – will also be addressed in Group Business Plans, which are monitored through half year and end of year performance reports.
DEST will maintain its Reconciliation Action Plan in the department’s website. The department will update the Plan as new initiatives and approaches are added, and as initiatives are completed. The department will publish progress against the Plan in its Annual Report to Parliament.
