DEST’s Reconciliation Initiatives

In DEST, Indigenous business is everyone’s business. Indigenous outcomes are therefore embedded in the department’s Strategic Plan, with commitments to action across all seven Goals in the DEST Strategic Plan. These reconciliation initiatives sit alongside a range of ongoing Australian Government programmes designed to close the gap in educational outcomes for Indigenous Australians. More information on these programmes is available from our Indigenous education sector.
