2005 – 2008 Indigenous Education Programme elements guidelines

The 2005 – 2008 Indigenous Education Programme element guidelines have been updated to reflect changes made to programmes since the beginning of the  quadrennium.  Providers affected by changes made to policy within the IEP elements have been advised by the DEEWR programme manager.

The Appendices on individual IEP elements should be read in conjunction with sections 1 to 10 of the guidelines. These sections provide information that is generic to all the individual IEP elements.  Details relating to specific IEP elements are in appendices A1 to A14.

Changes within the IEP elements guidelines include:

  • amalgamation of Part A and Part B into a single document
  • general editorial changes to address issues of ambiguity
  • reordering contents of some chapters for consistency of section layout
  • amended section headings to better reflect contents.
