Indigenous Higher Education Statistics

The collection of higher education statistics is managed by the Higher Education Group of the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEERW).

DEEWR’s Higher Education Statistical Collection includes statistics on Indigenous students and Indigenous staff.

The most recent Indigenous published statistics are:

• 2006 Students (full calendar year) statistics.

• 2005 Staff  (full calendar year)

DEEWR also publishes annual information on Indigenous higher education performance indicators and providers’ performance against the indicators.
