Australian Partnership for Advanced Computing (APAC)

The APAC was established to lead the development of a cooperative and collaborative approach to the provision of high performance computing in Australia. It has developed computing infrastructure supported by coordinated programs in research, education and technology diffusion. The APAC is a partnership of six partners: CSIRO, six state consortia, and the Australian National University. The National Facility is located at the ANU and provides high performance computing accessible by all partners on a resource sharing basis. Each partner has, and is, developing its own advanced computing infrastructure and services.
