As part of the AREN development, significantly improved broadband access has been negotiated for institutions and agencies in Alice Springs and Darwin. In addition to linking Alice Springs and Darwin to the national backbone network at Adelaide, a connection into Charles Darwin University’s intra-Territory network will provide better access to the resources across the AREN and the international networks it peers with for learning centres in regional and remote parts of the Territory.
