The existing Rethinking Drinking - You're in Control alcohol education materials have been adapted to provide an inclusive resource for use by both Indigenous and non-Indigenous students. The new materials offer a greater choice of lessons and activities for teachers. They provide what is currently missing in terms of cultural understanding and cultural inclusiveness and can be used by all schools. The target audience is Years 8-10, but the materials are flexible enough for teachers to modify for younger students if required.
The Rethinking Drinking resource were distributed to all schools with secondary enrolments in October 2004.
