The Adelaide Declaration On The National Goals For Schooling In The Twenty-First Century

In April 1999, State, Territory and Australian Government Ministers of Education met as the Ministerial Council on Education, Employment, Training and Youth Affairs (MCEETYA) in Adelaide and endorsed a new set of National Goals for Schooling  You are now leaving the DEST website   in the Twenty-First Century.

Mceetya Framework For Vocational Education In Schools

In response to the National Goals relating to vocational education, a Framework for Vocational Education in Schools (comprising a policy and implementation plan), was developed by the MCEETYA VET in Schools Taskforce (now the Transition from School Taskforce) and was agreed to in 2001 for implementation by 2004.

The Prime Minister’s Youth Pathways Action Plan Taskforce Report – Footprints To The Future

In 2002 the Prime Minister's Taskforce released a report Footprints to the Future that looks at ways to improve the support provided to young people during their transition from start to independence.

Mceetya Career And Transition Services Framework

In July 2003 MCEETYA agreed to promote the Career and Transition Services Framework  You are now leaving the DEST website   as a tool to assist jurisdictions in planning for and providing services to support and prepare young people to make successful transitions through school and from school to work.
