Produced under the auspices of the Gender Equity Taskforce and Reference Group, the publication www.curriculum.edu.au/mceetya/public/pub336.htm deals with “…growing understandings about the construction of gender and its implications for policy and practice, as well as developments in education which examine the differences in the experiences and outcomes of schooling for both boys and girls, and for different groups of boys and girls”. Part A of the document provides a context for the Taskforce’s work as well as principles and strategic areas for action. Part B presents a series of papers on topics relevant to gender and gender equity. |
