Description The resource seeks to “highlight the many different opportunities that exist in the national curriculum for preparing both girls and boys for balanced and fulfilling futures.” The booklet begins with a gender focused analysis of six national curriculum key learning areas (KLAs) which include exploring your own knowledge, attitudes and questions about putting “Gender up front” in your classroom; looking at the gender issues relevant to each key learning area as well as looking at essential learning for curriculum. It also covers project material which includes both detailed units and overviews.
