Parents have a say on schooling issues


On 11 March 2004 the former Minister for Education, Science and Training, the Hon Dr Brendan Nelson MP, invited parents and other interested members of the community to put forward their views on Australian schooling, to inform and guide key aspects of national school education policies.

The discussion paper was distributed to all schools, parents associations, education peak bodies, pre-school groups and families’ associations. Parents and community members could access and respond online at nefs.dest.gov.au  You are now leaving the DEST website. The consultation process concluded on 31 May 2004.
