Questacon's Corporate Plan 2004 - 2009

A better future for all Australians through engagement with science and innovation.

To increase awareness and understanding of science and innovation through inspirational learning experiences.

Together with Australian Public Service values, we value: the promotion of positive attitudes to science and technology; maintaining scientific and educational integrity; engaging people in discovery and life-long learning; being innovative, energetic and entrepreneurial; an open for business philosophy; teamwork and mutual respect.

Questacon has had a successful 17 years of operation in the current building in Canberra and during that time it has grown into a well-loved national icon and one of the world’s top science centres. It is now time to look forward to the next 15 years and set a course that allows continued growth, an extension of our markets and a direction that ensures Questacon remains relevant to the broader needs of Australian society.
