Opened late last year, Mini Q – fun for 0 – 6 year olds 
is an exhibition specifically aimed at our littlest scientists.
Mini Q is a new endeavour for Questacon, specifically targeting younger children and introducing them to a stimulating and tactile environment which teaches them coordination and confidence in a relaxed and safe setting.
The exhibition offers an opportunity for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and school aged children (to 6 years old) to take part in various types of learning play in environments not commonly available to young children.
Built in consultation with early childhood educators, the exhibition has an Australian theme and contains themed zones such as water, sensory, active play and a baby space.
Each zone provides an opportunity to enhance social and gross motor skills while inspiring those under the age of six to see, hear, feel and do amazing things.
If you thought your children were too young to fully enjoy Questacon, well now there is an exhibition specifically made for our smallest visitors and their families.
