AAO Review Issues Paper

Issues Paper for the 2006 Review of the Anglo-Australian Observatory (AAO)

Abstract This issues paper provides a background to the review, discusses its terms of reference, the composition of its panel and its timetable.  The paper then goes on to specify those aspects of the AAO that the review panel will be evaluating, including the AAO’s facilities and services, scientific outcomes, instrumentation programme, education and outreach programmes, management and governance, possible performance enhancements, and future governance and organisational arrangements for the post June 2010 period.
