Quality Training Concepts Pty Ltd

Experience:

I believe that input from the holistic perspective should be as pragmatic and positive as possible, assisting development of solutions that acknowledge the input of many people to the product, and enhance the quality and useability of Training Packages to ultimately improve Australia’s skills base. In the Panel role, I would work with ISCs to this end. The holistic quality assurance role demands a range of skills such as: sophisticated working knowledge of Training Packages and the VET policy framework; very practical appreciation of the role of ISCs in working with their industries developing and improving Training Packages; an understanding of the diversity of stakeholders who use them, particularly RTOs; and the capacity to apply concentrated high-level analysis and insights to ensure the quality of nationally endorsed products.  I have these skills. Much of my career within the VET sector has involved analysis of one sort or another; I have had a diverse immersion in the sector (at national, state and provider levels—from national policy roles to ‘hands on’ RTO management roles). I bring to the work comprehensive knowledge and an understanding of the potential diversity of views and positions.
