Literacy web site goes upmarket

All the latest adult literacy and numeracy resources, research, professional development, and funding are now accessible via the Department of Education, Science and Training new-look LiteracyNet
web site. Part of ANTA’s adult literacy national project effort this year, the redeveloped site provides links to:
- the Commonwealth Government’s three major language, literacy and numeracy support programs.
- key national PD and general tools and resources.
- listing of resources developed with ANTA and DEST funds. This includes more than 40 that are downloadable or can be ordered online.
- links to useful statistical articles and the most up-to-date information about key national adult literacy research works in progress and outputs from the past 10 years..
Links provides access to specialist information and resources including professional development bodies and associations.
The site is being trialed over July and August. Please forward feedback about significant omissions, navigation difficulties, or technical hitches should go to Michael Johnson at the Commonwealth Department of Education, Science, and Training by August 29.
