Learn about opportunities for building your community capacity through adult and community education .
Find out how regional clusters of skills link with business and training priorities in your community.
Work more closely with your local training provider to help them build the capacity of your community and better meet the needs of client groups. You might even think about setting up a partnership with a training organisation.
Tap into training solutions available to your community at the Australian Government’s Education Portal . This site links to information on training providers, courses and useful publications.
Show your staff and colleagues what Shaping our Future means for them by giving them a printed copy of the strategy and the first action plan for 2004 and 2005. You can also use these slides (857k) to explain the key features of the strategy and start a dialogue about what it might mean for you.
