Fast Facts Moving to New Delivery System
To ensure all current subscribers receive the newsletter smoothly during the period of transition to the new system, Fast Facts will also continue to be distributed using the previous method until the end of December 2007.
From 1 January 2007, however, Fast Facts will only be available through this system. You will need to re-subscribe by 1 January 2008 in order to continue to get Fast Facts – If you have re-subscribed can you please check to see that you have selected the Fast Facts Newsletter and that your details are up-to-date and correct.
To re-subscribe, please follow these steps:
1. Go to http://www.dest.gov.au/dss/ - please read instructions then press the 'Continue' button
2. Enter your email address in the email form field then press the 'Continue' button
3. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address that was supplied
4. Click the link in the email to activate your account
5. A list of newsletters will be displayed - select FAST FACTS (as well as any other newsletter that takes your interest)
6. Click 'Save changes' button at the bottom of the page
7. Your details will be added to the database to receive any new newsletter(s).
Reframing the Future refreshed for 2008
Reframing the Future is the major workforce development initiative of the Australian and State and Territory Governments. It assists in building the capability of the VET sector to support the implementation of the national training system.
Reframing the Future will be offering a refreshed program in 2008 to be launched in mid-February. To receive up-to-date information please visit the website http://www.reframingthefuture.net/

Navigating NSW
Navigating NSW is an information website for RTOs delivering qualifications from the CHC02 Community Services Training Package and HLT07 Health Training Package in NSW. The website contains details about NSW context, legislation and regulations that will assist RTOs and state training authorities to ensure training in NSW is relevant and appropriate. The website includes specific community services and health industry sector advice as well as a dedicated webpage for the delivery of national First Aid units of competency in NSW.
Navigating NSW was developed by NSW Community Services and Health Industry Training Advisory Body in partnership with NSW Department of Education and with advice and contributions from relevant peak industry bodies.
