Abstract
The Resources and Infrastructure Industry Skills Report addresses twelve factors that impact on future industry skill needs and skills shortages: worker attraction and retention, demographic change, consumer and customer service demands, market expansion, competitiveness and productivity demands, health and safety, technological advancement, globalization, of the workforce, employment arrangements, worker attraction and retention, regulatory compliance, insurance, e-business and employment arrangements.
The report will inform further development of industry training strategies and VTE planning.
